The invention relates to an axle structure (6) for a commercial vehicle chassis, comprising control arms (8), each having a pivot bearing (10) at a first end, an interface (18) at a first distance from the pivot bearing (10) for attaching a wheel carrier (12) to the respective control arm (8), and a support portion (20) at a second distance from the pivot bearing, and a spring element (14) for connecting the respective control arm (8) to the spring element (14). The aim of the invention is to provide an axle structure which leaves a sufficient installation space in the region of the axle structure, providing an electric drive for a commercial vehicle. This is achieved in that the control arms (8) are connected together on the wheel axis (R) side facing away from the pivot bearing (10) via an axle (22) which is screwed onto the control arms (8).
