The invention discloses an inter-city public transportation system based on module vehicles, and belongs to the field of intelligent transportation. Comprising a module bus passenger pick-up subsystem in an urban road, an expressway entrance and exit control point module vehicle optimization marshalling subsystem and a hub intercommunication control point module vehicle optimization marshalling subsystem. The module vehicles can dynamically adjust marshalling to adapt to the concentrated passenger flow demand in the traffic corridor, and the operation efficiency is improved. The system dynamically adjusts module vehicle marshalling through separation and connection of module units, and optimizes lines and dispatch according to real-time passenger requirements. According to the system, through intelligent scheduling, departure point passenger receiving and destination point passenger delivery are completed in a city, combined marshalling optimization of vehicles and passengers at expressway entrances and exits is achieved, and diverting and converging optimization of traffic flow is achieved in expressway hub intercommunication. Through an intelligent, modularized and dynamic vehicle marshalling and dispatching mechanism, the passenger transport efficiency can be effectively improved, the operation cost can be reduced, high-quality passenger service can be provided, and meanwhile, the natural environment can be protected.
