The invention relates to a domestic hydraulic step ladder, comprising a large-area table-board platform for standing and working at levels at different heights from the floor, said platform being divided from the middle into two halves, each half being mounted on two multi-stage telescopic hydraulic cylinders, all of the four telescopic hydraulic cylinders are carried on a common base and are connected by means of a three-position hydraulic valve to a small conventional air preloading hydropneumatic accumulator equipped with a mini-air pump for air preloading control, in order to manually climb the step ladders, the four telescopic hydraulic cylinders are connected by means of a three-position hydraulic valve to the small conventional air preloading hydropneumatic accumulator, and the four telescopic hydraulic cylinders are connected by means of a three-position hydraulic valve to the small conventional air preloading hydropneumatic accumulator. When the two halves are at the same level at the lowest point of the step ladder, a person climbs up the platform by placing one foot on each of the two platform halves, then operating the three-position hydraulic valve, and by maintaining a suitable posture on the platform, effecting raising/standing/lowering of the platform.
