The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a traffic capacity coefficient of a road section where a vehicle is currently located, and acquiring information gains of driving control information and a driving state type under the traffic capacity coefficient; according to a plurality of historical information gains corresponding to the same driving control information under the traffic capacity coefficient, determining a weight value of the driving control information under the traffic capacity coefficient so as to determine N types of target driving control information from the M types of driving control information in combination with a first driving state type of the vehicle; and acquiring N types of target driving control information of the vehicle in the current time period, and determining a second driving state type of the vehicle by using the N types of target driving control information and the first driving state type. According to the technical scheme, the more accurate driving state type of the vehicle can be determined, so that the driving safety of a driver is guaranteed.
