The invention provides a regional boundary traffic signal control method and system based on model predictive control, and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic. The method specifically comprises the following steps: partitioning a road network region; collecting traffic parameters of each region of the road network, and fitting an MFD curve of each region based on the collected data; establishing an optimization model by taking minimization of the number of vehicles in a road network as a target; an optimal boundary control value is obtained through optimization solution of an MPC controller with a built-in SLSQP algorithm, so that boundary traffic flow and boundary traffic signal lamp timing of each region of the road network are controlled; a traffic flow is simulated based on SUMO, and from a current time step to a next time step, an MPC controller with a built-in SLSQP algorithm is used for continuous iterative optimization solution to realize rolling optimization. And modeling the traffic state of each region by using MFD to obtain the flow dynamic state of the region. By establishing a network structure to simulate traffic dynamics, the MPC method is realized to control transfer of boundary traffic flow and dynamically control timing of traffic signal lamps, so that traffic congestion is relieved.
本发明提供一种基于模型预测控制的区域边界交通信号控制方法及系统,属于智能交通技术领域。具体的:对路网区域进行分区;采集路网各个区域的交通参数,基于采集到的数据拟合各个区域的MFD曲线;以最小化路网车辆数为目标,建立优化模型;通过内置SLSQP算法的MPC控制器优化求解,得到最优边界控制值,从而控制路网各个区域边界车流量以及边界交通信号灯配时;基于SUMO模拟交通流,从当前时间步长到下一个时间步长,通过内置SLSQP算法的MPC控制器不断迭代优化求解,实现滚动优化。利用MFD对每个区域的交通状态进行建模,得到区域的流量动态。通过建立网络结构模拟交通动态,实现MPC方法控制边界交通流的转移并对交通信号灯配时进行动态控制,从而缓解交通拥堵。
