The invention discloses a lifting mechanism and an automatic guided vehicle. The lifting mechanism comprises a base, a power source, an output connecting rod, at least one bottom connecting rod, at least two positioning connecting rods, at least two goods jacking connecting rods and an object bearing plate. The output connecting rod is connected between the power source and the bottom connecting rod. The two positioning connecting rods are respectively provided with a first pivoting part, a second pivoting part and a third pivoting part, the first pivoting parts of the two positioning connecting rods are respectively pivoted to the two first fixing rods of the base so that the two positioning connecting rods can swing on the two first fixing rods, and the second pivoting parts of the two positioning connecting rods are respectively pivoted to the two ends of the bottom connecting rod so that the two positioning connecting rods can swing on the two first fixing rods. One ends of the two goods jacking connecting rods are connected to the goods bearing plate, and the third pivoting parts of the two positioning connecting rods are pivoted to the other ends of the two goods jacking connecting rods. The power source can drive the output connecting rod to act so as to link the bottom connecting rod to drive the two positioning connecting rods to swing and link the two goods jacking connecting rods to drive the bearing plate to ascend and descend. Therefore, the goods can be lifted only by applying small force.
