The invention discloses a crane rotation angle measuring device and method, and the measuring device comprises a first gyroscope inertial sensor, a second gyroscope inertial sensor, a PLC controller and an interaction unit display which are electrically connected through a cable. The first gyroscope inertial sensor and the second gyroscope inertial sensor are started and stopped before and after rotation each time, the single rotation angle is stored in the PLC, and finally accumulation calculation is performed to display a data result in an interaction unit display. The gyroscope inertial sensors are mounted on the upper and lower trucks, so that the rotation angles of different types of cranes can be conveniently measured; the rotation starting key and the rotation stopping key are arranged, data are reset every time, the influence of data drift of the gyroscope inertial sensor on measurement is avoided, data are stored in the PLC for calculation, and the accuracy and stability of the rotation angle are guaranteed.
