The train communication system comprises an on-board communication subsystem and a ground communication subsystem. The vehicle-mounted communication subsystem is connected with the ground communication subsystem through a wireless communication network; when the communication channel condition judgment result is good, modulating a data file to be transmitted between the vehicle-mounted communication subsystem and the ground communication subsystem by adopting a first multiphase quadrature amplitude modulation technology; when the communication channel condition judgment result is difference, modulating a data file to be transmitted between the vehicle-mounted communication subsystem and the ground communication subsystem by adopting a second multi-phase quadrature amplitude modulation technology; the number of phases of the first multi-phase quadrature amplitude modulation technique is greater than the number of phases of the second multi-phase quadrature amplitude modulation technique. The communication efficiency is improved, and the bit error rate is prevented from being improved.
