The invention provides a control method and device for braking energy recovery of a rear axle drive pure electric vehicle, and the control method comprises the steps: obtaining a brake pedal opening value and an accelerator pedal opening value of the vehicle in response to the condition that a charge state value and a running speed value of the vehicle meet preset conditions, and determining an energy recovery mode of the vehicle; determining a first energy recovery torque of the drive motor using a regenerative braking table based on the traveling speed value in response to the determination of the slip energy recovery mode; or in response to the braking energy recovery mode, whether the braking strength corresponding to the opening value of the braking pedal belongs to the braking strength interval or not is judged; and if yes, determining a second energy recovery torque of the driving motor based on a control strategy corresponding to the braking strength interval, so that the driving motor performs braking control on the vehicle according to the energy recovery torque. By means of the method, the energy recovery efficiency and the running smoothness of the rear-axle-driven pure electric vehicle are improved, and then the running safety of the vehicle is improved.
