The invention discloses a commercial vehicle thermal management system and a control method thereof.The system comprises an electric control unit, an engine cooling loop, a hydraulic retarder cooling loop, a cooling loop on-off unit and a temperature detection unit, and the cooling loop on-off unit is used for connecting and disconnecting the hydraulic retarder cooling loop and the engine cooling loop and/or connecting and disconnecting the hydraulic retarder cooling loop and the engine cooling loop; the cooling loop on-off unit is used for bypassing a hydraulic retarder cooling loop; the temperature detection unit is used for detecting the environment temperature, the cooling liquid temperature and/or the cylinder cover temperature. The electric control unit controls the heat management valve, the electronic water pump, the electronic fan and the air inlet grid switch according to temperature signals. And the electric control unit controls the cooling loop on-off unit according to the working state of the hydraulic retarder so as to connect and disconnect the hydraulic retarder cooling loop and the engine cooling loop. Therefore, the engine and the hydraulic retarder share one set of cooling loop, and the cooling loop is switched on and off according to the working state of the hydraulic retarder, so that the vehicle has good heat dissipation performance.

    本发明公开了一种商用车热管理系统及其控制方法,其中系统包括电控单元、发动机冷却回路、液力缓速器冷却回路、冷却回路通断单元和温度检测单元,冷却回路通断单元用于通断液力缓速器冷却回路和发动机冷却回路,和/或,冷却回路通断单元用于旁路液力缓速器冷却回路;温度检测单元用于检测环境温度、冷却液温度和/或缸盖温度,电控单元根据温度信号控制热管理阀、电子水泵、电子风扇和进气栅格开关;电控单元根据液力缓速器工作状态控制冷却回路通断单元,以通断液力缓速器冷却回路和发动机冷却回路。可见,本发明主要是使发动机和液力缓速器共用一套冷却回路,并根据液力缓速器的工作状态进行通断,使车辆具有良好的散热性能。
