A computing device includes a memory configured to store an instance of a vehicle operating system ("VOS", where the instance of the vehicle operating system facilitates concurrent access by a plurality of user profiles); and processing circuitry configured to execute the instance of the VOS. The VOS may authorize a plurality of user profiles to interact with an instance of a vehicle operating system via a plurality of displays communicatively coupled to a vehicle host unit, and determine an occupant area identifier based on which of the plurality of displays each of the plurality of user profiles interacts with to authorize each of the plurality of user profiles. The VOS may also obtain a user experience constraint for each of the plurality of user profiles based on the occupant area identifier, and constrain content across a plurality of user interfaces presented across the plurality of displays via a single instance of the VOS according to the user experience constraint.
