The method comprises the following steps: collecting a first face image of a driver in a preset time period in real time after the driver gets on the vehicle, and determining a face behavior feature threshold value of the driver; a second face image of the driver is collected in real time in the driving process; calculating a real-time face behavior feature value corresponding to each frame of second face image; determining a facial behavior characteristic change rate time curve according to a facial behavior characteristic threshold value of the driver and the real-time facial behavior characteristic value corresponding to each frame of second facial image, determining a facial behavior characteristic jump value and jump duration within a preset duration range before and after each moment, and determining a facial behavior characteristic change rate of the driver according to preset facial behavior calibration data. Outputting a facial behavior judgment result of the driver; and the fatigue evaluation grade of the driver is determined according to the face behavior judgment result, the vehicle state collected in real time and the driving duration. The fatigue state of the driver can be recognized and reminded, and the driving safety is improved.
