The invention provides an engine crankshaft shutdown positioning method and an engine crankshaft shutdown positioning device.The method comprises the steps that under the condition that an engine of a hybrid power vehicle is shut down, a first rotating speed signal of the hybrid power vehicle and a steering signal of a generator are obtained, the first rotating speed signal represents rotating speed information of the engine and/or the generator at the acquisition time, and the steering signal represents the rotating direction of the generator; establishing a rotating speed-time coordinate system based on the acquisition time and the first rotating speed signal; determining a first integral time interval from a rotational speed-time coordinate system on the basis of a reversal signal in the event that the steering signal comprises the reversal signal, the reversal signal characterizing a reversal rotation; determining a first target rotating speed signal corresponding to the first integral time interval from the first rotating speed signal; and integral processing is conducted on the first target rotating speed signal, a first target integral value is obtained, and the first target integral value represents the stop position of the engine crankshaft under the reverse rotation condition of the engine.
