The invention provides a wind shield of a container ship and a design method of the wind shield. The wind shield comprises a connecting plate, a guide plate and a cover plate, and the connecting plate is connected to the outer edge of a bow structure of a main deck and is perpendicular to the main deck; the guide plate is connected to the top of the connecting plate; after the guide plate intersects with the longitudinal section of the ship, the line type on the outermost side inclines towards the stern, the cover plate has a preset width, and the cover plate covers the top of the guide plate; the outer edge of the cover plate is aligned with the outer edge of the top of the guide plate, and the inner edge of the cover plate extends towards the longitudinal section of the ship. The wind resistance borne by the container ship in the operation process can be reduced, fuel consumption of the container ship is reduced, and therefore overall carbon emission is reduced.
