The invention relates to a method for efficiently pulling back a super-long hoisting steel wire rope of a crawler crane, which comprises the following steps of: during the assembly period of the crawler crane, assembling a pin hole space of an original hook head pulley block by utilizing a main arm head, matching with a tool of a reversing roller device, and utilizing reversing and supporting functions of the steel wire rope reversing roller device and traction force within an auxiliary hoisting rated load; and the position of a hook head pulley block of the main arm head is guided by the main lifting winch. Then, a variable-amplitude fly jib rear mast and a variable-amplitude fly jib front mast are installed, the variable-amplitude fly jib rear mast and the variable-amplitude fly jib front mast are integrally hoisted and installed at the tail of a lower section jib of the variable-amplitude fly jib through an auxiliary crane, and then an auxiliary winding steel wire rope is wound on a pulley block of the variable-amplitude fly jib rear mast and the variable-amplitude fly jib front mast in the opposite direction of a rope winding diagram; and the auxiliary variable-amplitude winding steel wire rope is guided to a guide pulley of a specified auxiliary arm head by recovering the auxiliary winding steel wire rope. The long-distance steel wire rope can be dragged to effectively move and wind.
