The invention relates to an interleaving area lane change safety evaluation method, terminal equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: calculating an average lane change conflict probability of an interleaving area based on traffic data of n interleaving areas; dividing the to-be-analyzed interlaced region into five sections and numbering the five sections; collecting traffic data of the to-be-analyzed interleaving area, extracting all lane changing events from the traffic data, and according to the coordinates of the lane changing starting point, the lane changing point and the lane changing end point corresponding to each lane changing event, combining with the divided sections of the corresponding interleaving area; calculating the section number and the lane number of the lane changing starting point, the lane changing point and the lane changing ending point corresponding to each lane changing event; calculating the lane change conflict probability of the to-be-analyzed interleaving area; and judging the lane changing safety degree of the to-be-analyzed interleaving area according to the size relationship between the lane changing conflict probability of the to-be-analyzed interleaving area and a set probability threshold value. The method provides a theoretical basis for traffic operation safety evaluation of the interlaced area.
