The invention relates to the field of electric vehicle battery pack temperature adjustment, in particular to a linear temperature control method for an electric vehicle battery pack. The working medium is selectively controlled to be heated or cooled; after temperature rise is selected, the target temperature for temperature rise, the temperature rise rate and the initial-stage temperature rise temperature are set; after selecting cooling, setting a cooling target temperature, a cooling rate and an initial stage cooling temperature; through the initial temperature rising stage, the temperature rises to the initial temperature rising temperature; through the initial cooling stage, the temperature is reduced to the initial cooling temperature; after a stable temperature rising stage, the target temperature rising temperature is reached; after a stable cooling stage, the target cooling temperature is reached; keeping the working medium at the target temperature; and keeping the working medium at the cooling target temperature. The temperature change process of the working medium is accurately controlled and is increased or decreased linearly, fluctuation in the temperature change process is avoided, uniform change of the temperature of the battery pack is guaranteed, and safety risks caused by local temperature imbalance are avoided.
