The invention discloses a traffic scene twinning method and device, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the geographic information data of a road, enabling the geographic information data to comprise the geographic coordinates of the road, mapping the center line direction of the road to be the x direction and the width direction of the road to be the y direction in a twinning image of the traffic scene, building a rectangular coordinate system, and generating a two-dimensional graph of the road, and determining the x coordinate of any point in the two-dimensional graph and the cumulative length of the position of any point in the three-dimensional geographic information data corresponding to the road along the direction parallel to the center line of the road. The invention further comprises a device for implementing the method. By adopting the method, the actual road condition and the road equipment can be accurately and synchronously reflected to a picture, and accurate road monitoring is facilitated.
