The invention relates to the technical field of tower crane construction, and particularly discloses a tower crane supporting structure and a construction method thereof.The tower crane supporting structure is arranged between a structural steel column and a tower body of a tower crane and comprises a lengthening rod, a transverse rod and a locking assembly, the lengthening rod is fixedly connected to the top end of the structural steel column in the vertical direction, and the transverse rod is arranged between the tower body and the lengthening rod; one end of the cross rod is detachably and fixedly connected with the tower body, the other end of the cross rod is detachably and fixedly connected with the lengthening rod, the cross rod is a telescopic rod, and the locking assembly is arranged on the cross rod and used for locking the cross rod with the adjusted length to the current length. According to the supporting device, the tower crane in dome building structure construction can be conveniently supported, so that the stability and safety of the tower crane are improved; the bottom of the tower crane is arranged in the basement, so that the tower crane can be suitable for occasions without proper installation conditions on the ground, and the applicability is higher.
