The watertight protection device comprises a watertight door, a measuring cabin and a control system, an opening is formed in the bottom of the measuring cabin, the watertight door is installed in the measuring cabin and can open or seal the opening, an inflation assembly is arranged on the measuring cabin, and the inflation assembly is used for being communicated with an external air source so as to provide compressed air into the measuring cabin, so that the internal air pressure of the measuring cabin is higher than the external air pressure of the measuring cabin; the control system is electrically connected with the watertight door, and the control system is configured to obtain a measurement work instruction and control the watertight door to open the opening when the internal air pressure of the measurement cabin is greater than the external air pressure. The measuring instrument can be fixedly installed at the bottom of the ship, the detection probe extends out to achieve the purpose of measurement and investigation, and water outside the measuring cabin cannot enter the measuring cabin.
