The embodiment of the invention relates to the field of heavy load operation monitoring, and discloses a heavy load railway train operation environment sensing system. The system comprises a line environment monitoring device which is installed in a line extension direction; the foreign matter invasion monitoring device is arranged in the target monitoring protection area; the tunnel deformation monitoring device is mounted on the heavy haul train; the vehicle-mounted positioning device is mounted on the heavy-load train; and the data management platform is used for analyzing and processing according to the monitoring data fed back by each device so as to monitor the running safety state of the train. The system provided by the invention solves the technical problem of poor safety caused by incomplete monitoring of the running environment of the heavy haul railway train, and at least can achieve real-time monitoring and tracking of line dangerous situations such as perimeter invasion, natural disasters and facility deformation of the transportation line of the heavy haul railway and the position of the running vehicle; and data support and technical means are provided for scientific decision making of an operation dispatching center.
