The embodiment of the invention provides a battery cell thermal runaway diagnosis method and device, a sensor, an automobile and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of battery safety. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an MEMS resistance value of an MEMS gas sensor in real time by a detection unit of the MEMS gas sensor which is arranged in a battery pack of the electric vehicle and is connected with a battery management system of the electric vehicle; determining whether thermal runaway of the battery cell occurs in the battery pack or not by using the resistance value of each MEMS in the preset time window at the current moment; when it is determined that the battery cell thermal runaway occurs in the battery pack, a thermal runaway alarm signal is generated and transmitted to a battery management system, so that the battery management system uploads the thermal runaway alarm signal to a whole vehicle system of the electric vehicle, and the whole vehicle system prompts a user; and the thermal runaway of any battery cell in the battery pack can be timely detected and alarmed under any states of running, charging, static and the like of the vehicle.

    本发明实施例提出一种电芯热失控诊断方法、装置、传感器、汽车及存储介质,涉及电池安全技术领域。该方法:安装在电动汽车的电池包内部并与电动汽车的电池管理系统连接的MEMS气体传感器的检测单元实时获取MEMS气体传感器的MEMS电阻值;利用当前时刻预设时间窗口内的各MEMS电阻值,确定电池包内是否发生电芯热失控;在确定电池包内发生电芯热失控的情况下,产生热失控报警信号并传输至电池管理系统,以使电池管理系统将热失控报警信号上传至电动汽车的整车系统,使整车系统提示用户,实现车辆在运行、充电和静止等任意状态下对电池包中任意电芯热失控的及时检测并报警。
