The invention relates to an anti-collision device and an anti-collision method for a vehicle using electromechanical braking. An anti-collision device for a vehicle utilizes electro-mechanical braking (EMB). The collision avoidance device is operable when the vehicle is parked in neutral, and may include: a distance detection device for detecting a distance from a structure external to the vehicle; an EMB brake device for generating a braking force in the vehicle; and an anti-collision control means for operating the EMB braking means in one of at least two anti-collision modes on the basis of the distance detected by the distance detection means.
