Generally, a recharging process of a battery powered mobile device involves driving or otherwise moving the mobile device to a location of a stationary recharging station, and recharging a battery of the mobile device at the recharging station. During the time of travel and recharging, the mobile device does not perform tasks on site. The disclosed embodiments eliminate or reduce the need to transport a mobile device to a recharging station. In particular, the disclosed embodiments include a frame that enables quick replacement of the battery pack in the field. Embodiments may include a mobile element and/or a mobile battery replacement system to facilitate replacement that may transport a battery pack to and from a mobile device on site.
