The invention relates to the technical field of locomotive heat management, in particular to a novel evaporative condensation and gravity assisted heat pipe compounded locomotive heat dissipation mechanism which comprises a shell serving as a carrier of the whole device, a support is fixedly connected to one side of the shell, and a heat dissipation assembly used for refrigerating the interior of a locomotive is arranged on the shell. The heat dissipation assembly comprises a condenser, a water cooling radiator and an oil cooler which are installed in the shell, an outdoor unit and an evaporator are installed on the support, an inlet and an outlet of the condenser are connected with a first flow guide pipe and a second flow guide pipe respectively, and the first flow guide pipe and the second flow guide pipe are connected with an inlet and an outlet of the evaporator respectively. The first flow guide pipe and the second flow guide pipe are connected with the outdoor unit through backflow pipes respectively. Flowing of refrigerants in the pipeline is achieved through gravity, in the low-temperature environment, the steam compression outdoor unit is closed, needed cooling capacity is provided for the interior of the locomotive through the gravity heat pipe, and efficient and energy-saving operation of a locomotive heat management system is achieved while it is guaranteed that the indoor temperature is appropriate.
