The method comprises the steps that when it is detected that a vehicle driving state meets a preset condition, gesture information and seat pressure information of a driver are obtained; the gesture information represents a state of holding a steering wheel by hands when the driver drives; the seat pressure information represents the posture of the driver; determining a first level of the gesture information; determining a second grade of the seat pressure information; and determining the fatigue driving degree of the driver based on the first grade and the second grade. According to the fatigue driving detection method and device provided by the invention, accurate detection of fatigue driving can be realized.
