The method comprises the steps that a first obstacle map is obtained, the first obstacle map is used for predicting the position of a road surface obstacle area for a vehicle at a far sight distance, and the far sight distance comprises the distance with the vehicle larger than a first threshold value; when the distance between the vehicle and the road surface obstacle area is smaller than or equal to a first threshold value, first road surface information is collected, and existence of the road surface obstacle area is detected according to the first road surface information. When the distance between the vehicle and the road surface obstacle area is smaller than or equal to a second threshold value, second road surface information is collected, a real-time obstacle map is generated according to the second road surface information, and the second threshold value is smaller than the first threshold value; and obtaining a second obstacle map, and determining a driving path of the vehicle based on the second obstacle map, the second obstacle map being an obstacle map generated by the cloud side device based on the real-time obstacle map.
