The invention likewise relates to a piston-cylinder arrangement for a vehicle brake system, having at least one pressure compensation path (40), which is designed on and/or in the piston-cylinder arrangement in such a way that, during an adjusting movement of the first piston assembly (16), the pressure compensation path (40) is compensated by the pressure compensation path (40). At least one medium can be transferred from the first chamber (12) into the front chamber (10) via at least one pressure compensation path (40).
