The invention relates to a blade comprising:-an airfoil (12) having an aerodynamic profile, the airfoil comprising a first fibrous reinforcement obtained by three-dimensional weaving and a first matrix in which the first fibrous reinforcement is embedded, a portion of the airfoil (12) comprising a cavity formed by a debonding of the first fibrous reinforcement,-a blade root, the invention relates to a blade (1) comprising a blade root (2) intended to be connected to a variable pitch mechanism of the blade, and a spar (13) comprising a core (14) made of a composite material and two metal shells (21a, 21b) attached to the core (14) on both sides of the core (14). The core (14) includes a first section extending within the cavity of the airfoil and a second section forming a blade root. Two metal shells (21a, 21b) attached to the core (14) made of composite material extend over said second section and continue over the first section within the cavity of the airfoil (12).
