The first walking wheels are driven by the motor box to rotate, so that the detection vehicle shell advances on the steel rail, and the grinding vehicle shell is driven to advance on the steel rail. The laser flaw detector scans the steel rails to monitor the conditions of corrugation, fat edges, light bands and the like of the steel rails, then signals are transmitted to the computer through an antenna on the vehicle-mounted processor, and meanwhile, the laser range finder monitors the distance between the two steel rails; therefore, the purpose of automatically detecting the steel rail is achieved.
