The invention discloses an auxiliary braking device for a walking mechanism of a bucket wheel machine. The auxiliary braking device comprises a machine shell. The step-up gear box is arranged in the machine shell, and the input end of the step-up gear box is connected with the shaft end of the bucket wheel machine driven wheel through a coupler; the generator is arranged in the machine shell and provided with a rotor and a stator, and a shaft of the rotor is connected with an output shaft of the step-up gear box through a coupler; and the energy storage battery is arranged in the machine shell, the energy storage battery is electrically connected with the output end of the generator, and the energy storage battery is electrically connected with the generator. An energy conversion mode is adopted, the step-up gear box is connected with the driven wheel shaft of the bucket wheel machine walking mechanism, and the generator is connected with the step-up gear box shaft, so that the step-up gear box can convert kinetic energy of the driven wheel into mechanical energy, the generator converts the mechanical energy of the step-up gear box into electric energy, and the electric energy is stored in the energy storage battery; mechanical friction is avoided, the braking attenuation degree is low, and the service life is long.

    本发明公开了一种斗轮机行走机构辅助制动装置,包括机壳;增速齿轮箱,设置在机壳内,增速齿轮箱的输入端通过联轴器连接斗轮机从动轮的轴端;发电机,设置在机壳内,具有转子和定子,转子的轴通过联轴器连接增速齿轮箱的输出轴;储能电池,设置在机壳内,储能电池电性连接发电机的输出端,且储能电池电性连接发电机。本发明采用能量转换的方式,通过设置增速齿轮箱与斗轮机行走机构的从动轮轴连接,并设置发电机与增速齿轮箱轴连接,使增速齿轮箱能够将从动轮动能转为机械能,而发电机将增速齿轮箱的机械能转换为电能存储在储能电池中,以达到消耗动能转换为电能的制动效果,无机械摩擦,制动衰减程度低,使用寿命长。
