The invention relates to management of charging of an electric vehicle (10) via a charging terminal (14). According to the invention, the method for managing the charging comprises the following steps:-connecting (E1) a charging cable (13) between the electric vehicle and the charging terminal; -said charging terminal receiving (E5) authentication data relating to said electric vehicle; -upon the end of the control (E6) of the authentication data, the charging terminal triggers the charging if the authentication data is related to a second user which is different from the first user and which authorizes the execution of the charging.
