The invention relates to the technical field of elevator energy conservation, and particularly discloses an energy storage system configuration method of a direct-current elevator, an elevator control method, a configuration device and a control device, and the configuration method comprises the steps that historical operation data of the elevator is obtained; determining power consumption data based on the historical operation data; determining normal consumption data and limit consumption data based on the power consumption data; obtaining a basic configuration unit, and determining basic energy storage parameters of the basic configuration unit; and determining a configuration scheme of the energy storage system based on the conventional consumption data, the limit consumption data and the basic energy storage parameters. The energy storage system is configured for the elevator according to the actual operation data and the optimal cost of the elevator, so that the elevator is allowed to operate at the optimal cost, the operation cost of the elevator is greatly reduced, and the actual requirements of users are met.
