本发明公开了一种具有乘客交换的车流通道通行能力评估方法、应用及系统。该方法包括如下步骤:将车辆排队系统抽象成单车道排队系统,使用受阈值控制的M/M/1排队模型模拟车辆的排队过程,推导得到交通流模型。根据实测数据拟合交通流模型,确定拟合参数,获得宏观基本图和最优车流密度。比较车流密度与最优车流密度,当车流密度小于最优车流密度时,放行车辆进入车辆排队区域。当车流密度大于最优车流密度时,限制车辆进入车辆排队区域。本发明根据受阈值控制的单车道排队模型构建交通流模型,可以动态调整大型枢纽陆侧通道通行能力,有效保证乘客的离港效率。
