The invention relates to a magnesium alloy steering knuckle and an extrusion casting method thereof. The magnesium alloy steering knuckle is composed of the following raw materials of, by weight, 8-10% of Zn, 0.5-2.0% of Al, 1.2-3% of strengthening alloy elements and the balance Mg. The method comprises the following steps: preparing a magnesium alloy material in percentage by weight, and melting and refining the magnesium alloy material in a smelting furnace; magnesium liquid is injected into the material cup through a centrifugal pump, the magnesium liquid is pressed into the steering knuckle mold through an extrusion punch, the magnesium alloy is solidified through pressurization, and a magnesium alloy extrusion casting steering knuckle casting is obtained; and solid solution and aging treatment are conducted on the casting obtained after sand blasting, and the high-strength plastic magnesium alloy extrusion casting steering knuckle is obtained. The problems that an existing magnesium alloy casting process is single and cannot be applied to the field of structural parts such as a chassis with large bearing capacity are solved; and compared with an aluminum alloy steering knuckle, the weight is reduced by 28.1% while the product performance is met, and the large light weight effect is achieved.

    本发明涉及一种镁合金转向节及其挤压铸造方法,镁合金转向节组分按重量百分比由下列原材料组成:Zn:8‑10%,Al:0.5‑2.0%以及强化合金元素:1.2‑3%,其余为Mg;方法为将镁合金材料按重量百分比进行配制,放入熔炼炉中进行熔化、精炼处理;通过离心泵将镁液注入料杯中,通过挤压冲头将镁液压入转向节模具中,并增压使得镁合金凝固,获得镁合金挤压铸造转向节铸件;对喷砂后的铸件进行固溶和时效处理,获得高强塑镁合金挤压铸造转向节;本发明解决了目前镁合金铸造工艺单一,无法在承载力较大的底盘等结构件领域应用的难题;相比于铝合金转向节,在满足产品性能的同时,实现减重28.1%,具备较大的轻量化效果。
