A vehicle body pillar structure using a fiber-reinforced resin composite material comprises: at least two tubular portions made of a fiber-reinforced resin, each tubular portion having an axis in the height direction of a vehicle body; and a metal plate that is disposed between any two cylindrical sections arranged in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body and that extends in the height direction of the vehicle body and in the width direction of the vehicle body.
