The invention discloses an automobile heat exchanger and a manufacturing method of the automobile heat exchanger. The automobile heat exchanger comprises a shell and a heating plate. The shell is provided with an inner cavity with an upward opening, and a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe communicated with the inner cavity of the shell are arranged on the side wall of the shell. The heating plate is located above the shell and blocks the opening, the shell and the heating plate are fixed through welding and form a welding strip, and the welding strip is annular and located at the joint of the outer circumferential wall of the heating plate and the inner circumferential wall of the shell. The shell and the heating plate can be relatively fixed through welding, and the connection strength is high; moreover, the welding strip formed by welding can also serve as a sealing strip to seal the gap between the heating plate and the shell, so that the liquid leakage phenomenon is avoided, and compared with a plastic sealing strip, the service life is longer, and the sealing performance is higher.
