The method comprises the following steps: determining a torque build-up speed drop value in a torque build-up response stage according to a first intermediate shaft speed drop change rate in an initial stage of a brake and a second intermediate shaft speed drop change rate in an opening stage of the brake; determining a release rotating speed decline value corresponding to a brake release stage and a release rotating speed decline value corresponding to a brake complete release stage; according to the initial rotating speed, the target rotating speed, the twisting speed drop-out value, the releasing rotating speed drop-out value and the releasing rotating speed drop-out value of the intermediate shaft, the theoretical braking rotating speed difference in the maximum braking speed reduction stage is determined; and the brake is controlled according to the theoretical braking rotating speed difference, the actually-measured braking rotating speed difference in the braking maximum speed reduction stage and the target time array. According to the method, multiple factors are considered, the intermediate shaft brake is controlled, the control accuracy and reasonability of the intermediate shaft brake can be improved, and then the gear shifting fluency and the vehicle driving comfort are improved.
