The invention relates to an undercarriage uplift position detection assembly and an undercarriage uplift position protection system. The undercarriage folding position detection assembly comprises a sensor fixed on a fuselage of an aircraft; and the target assembly is fixed to the landing gear or fixed to the landing gear and the fuselage. The landing gear retracting position protection system comprises a landing gear; an undercarriage uplift position detection assembly according to one aspect of the present invention; and the undercarriage folding and unfolding actuating cylinder is used for actuating the undercarriage to enter or leave the folding position.
