The method comprises the steps that when a vehicle is charged, the initial temperature of a target high-voltage electronic device and the actual temperature rise of the target high-voltage electronic device within the preset charge state range of a battery are obtained, and the target high-voltage electronic device is located in a high-voltage loop where the battery is located; on the basis of a preset relation, the theoretical temperature rise of the target high-voltage electronic device in the preset state-of-charge range is determined, and the preset relation represents the temperatures of the target high-voltage electronic device at different initial temperatures and the battery state-of-charge; and when the actual temperature rise is greater than the theoretical temperature rise and a difference value between the actual temperature rise and the theoretical temperature rise is greater than a temperature difference early warning threshold value of the target high-voltage electronic device, determining that the target high-voltage electronic device has a fault. According to the technical scheme, the vehicle safety can be improved.
