The invention relates to the field of tires, in particular to a radial tire which comprises apex, a reinforcing layer, a steel wire ring and seam allowance protection rubber. The reinforcing layer wraps the apex; the steel wire ring is arranged in the apex; the seam allowance protection rubber wraps the outer side of the reinforcing layer, and the seam allowance protection rubber is connected with the lining rubber after bypassing the steel wire ring; wherein the apex has a first height h1 in the circumferential direction of the tire, h1 = tire section height SH * a first coefficient a, and the value range of the first coefficient a is 0.18-0.32. The first height h1 of the apex in the circumferential direction of the tire is designed, and the value range of the first coefficient a is limited to be adjustable, so that the parameter of the first height h1 of the apex is adjustable, and the ring failure performance of the radial tire in a high-speed performance test at the inclination angle of-3 degrees can be improved.
