The invention provides a vehicle control method, a vehicle, computer equipment and a program product, and the method comprises the steps: determining whether a charging port of a target vehicle is externally connected with an electric gun or not based on an induction device on the target vehicle under the condition that a driving intention is detected; if not, acquiring a to-be-detected image including a charging port of the target vehicle; the to-be-detected image is input to a pre-trained detection network, a detection result output by the detection network is obtained, and the detection result is used for indicating whether the relative position relation between the charging port and the electric gun conforms to the target position relation or not; wherein the target position relation comprises the steps that the electric gun is inserted into the charging port, and the electric gun is placed on the charging port cover; and controlling the target vehicle based on a detection result.
