The invention discloses a variable-caliber rotatable nozzle and a water spraying propulsion system. The variable-caliber rotatable nozzle comprises multiple sections of flow guide pipes, a rectifying pipe and a variable-caliber nozzle body. The multiple sections of flow guide pipes are sequentially and rotatably connected, the first section of flow guide pipe is connected with an outlet of the water jet propulsion system, and the tail section of flow guide pipe is sequentially connected with the rectifying pipe and the variable-caliber nozzle. Due to the fact that the multiple sections of flow guide pipes are not all arranged along the same axis, the direction of the variable-caliber nozzle can be changed by rotating the flow guide pipes so as to change the direction of outlet jet flow. In addition, the size of the jet flow can be adjusted by adjusting the size of the outlet of the variable-caliber nozzle, so that the adjustment and control of the water jet propulsion system are more accurate, and the control efficiency and the convenience degree of the ship are effectively improved.
