The embodiment of the invention provides a method for managing vehicle charging and electronic equipment. The method comprises the steps that during charging of the vehicle, a current thermal runaway characteristic value related to state information of a charged battery of the vehicle is determined, and the state information of the charged battery at least comprises the temperature of the charged battery; determining confidence target information related to the vehicle according to target image data about the vehicle acquired from an image acquisition module, wherein the confidence target information comprises a confidence value; in response to determining that the current thermal runaway characteristic value is in the fusion interval, comparing a plurality of confidence values in the detection period with a first confidence threshold respectively; and outputting the target image data and the confidence target information via an output unit in response to determining that at least part of the confidence values in the plurality of confidence values in the detection period are respectively greater than a first confidence threshold. In this way, the thermal runaway condition can be judged more accurately in combination with the state information of the charged battery and the target image data.
