The invention discloses a power conversion connector coupling in-place monitoring device and a power conversion connector, the power conversion connector comprises a vehicle end electric connection device and a battery end electric connection device which are in coupling connection, and the coupling in-place monitoring device comprises at least one in-place monitoring sensor, the sensor is arranged on a coupling surface of the battery end electric connection device and/or the vehicle end electric connection device and is used for monitoring the coupling distance between the vehicle end electric connection device and the battery end electric connection device; and the control module is connected with the in-place monitoring sensor and is used for receiving the coupling distance signal output by the in-place monitoring sensor and determining the in-place state of the vehicle end electric connection device and the battery end electric connection device based on the coupling distance signal. The in-place monitoring sensor is arranged on the coupling surface of the power conversion connector to monitor the coupling distance between the vehicle end electric connection device and the battery end electric connection device, a coupling distance signal is transmitted to the control module, the control module is coupled with the distance signal to determine the coupling in-place state, and the failure risk of the connector is reduced.
