The invention discloses a torque-free tower crane, which relates to the technical field of cranes, and comprises a tower body, a cargo boom and a balance arm, the top of the tower body is connected with the front part of the lifting arm through a lifting pull arm and is connected with the rear part of the balance arm through a balance pull arm; a lever signal acquisition rod is arranged in the center of the top of the tower body; a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor are respectively arranged on two sides of the lower end of the lever signal acquisition rod; a movable balance weight is arranged on the balance arm, and a movable lifting hook and an air blower are arranged on the lifting arm. The lever signal acquisition rod is matched with the pressure sensors on the two sides, so that the no-load and heavy-load conditions of the crane are detected, then the movable balance weight is controlled to adjust the position, and the effects of protecting a tower body and improving the lifting capacity are achieved. According to the invention, the rotation of the cargo boom is realized through the counter-acting force of the air blower to the air without influencing the cargo boom or the tower body; soft starting can be achieved through air blower driving, impact is avoided, and the structure is simple; and the use and maintenance cost of the crane is reduced.
