The invention relates to an energy storage underbody structure for an electrically drivable motor vehicle, comprising an underbody structure (22) having respective longitudinal and transverse beams (34), and an electric energy storage device having a storage housing (20) arranged on an underside of the underbody structure (22), the storage housing is connected to the corresponding longitudinal or transverse member (34) of the base structure (22) at least in one length region along a fastening plane (FE) by means of mechanical connecting means (35), and the storage housing is sealed from the corresponding longitudinal or transverse member (34) of the base structure (22) at least in the length region along a sealing plane (DE) by means of a seal (38). In order to achieve an energy storage base structure in which the storage housing (20) is particularly advantageously protected against excessive deformation and battery cell intrusion, the fastening plane (FE) and the sealing plane (DE) are arranged at a distance from one another in respective length regions.
