The cycloid gear set comprises a driving shaft device, an eccentric assembly, a driven shaft device, at least one cycloid disc device with a cycloid gear train assembly and at least one matching cycloid device with a matching gear train assembly. A driving force can be transmitted in the circumferential direction of the cycloidal gear set at least in the respective load-side section by means of a driving contact between a cycloidal disc contour of the cycloidal gear train assembly and a mating cycloidal contour of at least one mating cycloidal device in the contact region of the cycloidal disc device and the mating cycloidal device. At least one of the cycloidal gear train assemblies and/or at least one of the mating gear train assemblies has a cutout profile which is retracted relative to the respective profile along a cutout region arranged outside the load-side section of the respective profile thereof.
