A power supply retention system (100) includes a power supply (110) having a housing (112) and a locking member (122) mounted on top of the housing (112) for rotation relative to the housing (112) about a vertical axis (V). The system further includes a power supply compartment (150) configured to removably receive the power supply (110) in the power supply receiving space (155) in a vertical direction and including a retention member (158) adjacent the power supply receiving space (155). The locking member (122) is rotatable about the vertical axis (V) in a locking direction to a locking position in which the locking member (122) engages the retaining member (158) to prevent upward movement of the power source (110) out of the power supply compartment (150), and the locking member (122) is further rotatable about the vertical axis (V) in an opposite unlocking direction to an unlocking position in which the locking member (122) is disengaged from the retaining member to prevent upward movement of the power source (110) out of the power supply compartment (150). To allow the power supply (110) to move upward out of the power supply compartment (150).
