The invention relates to a method and a system for assisting a biped robot to walk by using a vacuum adsorption device. The method and the system aim at providing an effective mode, so that the biped robot walks more stably and efficiently in an uneven environment or an environment with a low-friction surface. By means of the vacuum adsorption device, the adhesive force between the biped robot and the ground can be increased in the walking process, and therefore the stability is enhanced, and the slipping risk is reduced.
